Do you have obituaries of family members, friends or anyone else that you'd like to put online? We're especially looking for older obits (before the year 2000). There are some states we have quite a few obits for, but are low on other states (could use some more New Mexico, Wyoming, Alaska, Hawaii, South Carolina, Delaware, Nevada and other obits), but we'll take whatever you've got.

All obituaries are edited and pared down (they're basically obituary abstracts, with the names of pallbearers and other non-essential information removed, while still retaining key information about the deceased).

This is a free obituary site, open to the public. If you have newer obits, that's okay, but we'd especially like to see some older ones. If you have information about a decesased person but don't have the actual obit, we can probably write an obit around that information. IMPORTANT: All obituaries MUST have a death date ("Tuesday" is not a valid death date, nor is "sometime around 1957"), and don't send more than five obits at once. And remember that all obits are edited for length and clarity. Thanks!
