Do you have a big heart and an extra room? Have you ever considered hosting an international student?

Our students are between 14 - 18 years of age and they will spend a semester or an academic year with a host family while attending an American high school. Our students must exhibit a high level of maturity. They have a solid history of strong academics and have the ability to adapt to a diverse culture. Educatius International has been promoting world peace through inter-cultural understanding for over 20 years.

A host family is responsible for providing a room with a quiet place to study, board, and a caring environment. Financially host families are also responsible for meals within the home, but not outside the home. The host family receives a $300 stipend per student every month to offset any expenses. Families can host more than one student at a time. The international student cannot share a room with family members, but they can share a room with another same-sex international student.

These students have their own health insurance and will be responsible for any expenses outside of the home. This includes things like clothes, entertainment, (IE: movies, meals at a restaurant, presents, prom expenses and attire, yearbooks, etc.) Students are told that they are responsible for all costs incurred for lunches during school hours.
